Embracing Uncertainty: Making Decisions in a Rapidly Changing World

About the Talk

With the increasing speed, uncertainty and complexity in today’s world, superior decision skills are more important than ever. This session will help you improve your decision-making skills by offering behavioral insights into how people actually think and make decisions. It will include practical action items for building new decision habits and reducing decision stressors.

Dr. Austin will also overlay the added complexity of massive uncertainty in today’s ever-changing environment and discuss ways to embrace and incorporate this uncertainty.

In the session participants with learn:

  • how to identify decision blindspots and develop strategies to neutralize them

  • the importance of viewing issues as polarities
  • how to calibrate risks associated with uncertainty
