Leveraging Human-Center Design for Innovative Training Experiences (and beyond)

Presented by Bill Lucas - Co-founder, LUMA Institute

What is the LUMA Institute?

LUMA Institute is a world-renowned education and training company headquartered in Pittsburgh. LUMA was founded in 2010 with a deep dedication to helping individuals, teams, and organizations increase their capacity to innovate through the principles and practices of Human-Centered Design (a.k.a. Design Thinking). LUMA equips people with the LUMA System of Innovation—an modular, adaptive system for critical and creative problem solving. The LUMA System has been applauded in Harvard Business Review as a powerful “Taxonomy of Innovation.” The LUMA System has been taught and applied to great effect all over the world in business, government, non-profit, and education. LUMA has empowered more than 75,000 people around the globe. LUMA’s array of services includes a rich combination of teaching, facilitation, and coaching. LUMA also offers high-end handbooks, worksheets, planning kits, and subscriptions to a digital platform called LUMA Workplace.
