Three-part interactive workshop offered via Zoom

With growing demands to come up with a winning DEI strategy, T&D professionals need time to think, reflect, gather and vet resources, and collaborate with their learning community on real solutions for their particular organizational context.

Using an action learning approach, this workshop will give T&D professionals an opportunity to build their own context-specific plans to enhance their organization’s DEI by:

  • understanding the existing inequities in the workplace by hearing the stories of those who have experienced them
  • reflecting deeply on their role in making a change for the better
  • imagining a better future in their workplace when racism, inequity and bias are eliminated
  • brainstorming potential solutions with colleagues
  • investigating how to implement solutions in their specific context
  • developing concrete plans for implementation
  • gaining a resource book of plans developed during workshop

Registration Fee Information

The registration fee includes all three sessions. Due to the nature of the program, we are not allowing part-time registration or refunds for missed sessions. Half of registration fees collected for this program will be given as a donation to an Allegheny County nonprofit that serves marginalized communities and whose mission is linked to work readiness or workforce development.
