Best Practices in Producing Virtual Learning

Program description

With the pandemic making a lasting impact on corporate learning, many organizations continue to embrace virtual learning as an ideal modality that that maintains much of the effectiveness of in-person learning while providing flexibility and cost reduction.  Over the past couple of years, many organizations have revisited their learning programs and expanded their use of virtual learning.  With this heightened focus on virtual learning, we will explore ways to maximize the effectiveness of this modality.  In this session, participants will think critically about the unique aspects of virtual training delivery in comparison with in-person training.  With these differences in mind, we will explore how to bridge the engagement gap often seen between these modalities and share best practices to keep in mind when delivering virtual programs.

Objectives

  • Identify unique aspects of virtual training that are often overlooked
  • Learn ways to better engage participants when training virtually
  • Better understand the virtual session producer role and its benefits
